Aalo, Apr 3: The West Siang District Magistrate through a cautionary order has warned and reminded all arms license holders of the district to deposit their arms to the nearest police stations before April 4 in view of the simultaneous elections.
Although the notice was served quite earlier, many of the arms license holders have failed to obey the order. As a follow-up action, seizing and cancellation process of arms licenses in respect of defaulters shall be initiated from April 5 expeditiously.
Meanwhile, the final round of election training after formation of polling teams will be imparted to all officials on election duties on April 8, 9 and 10. The final hands-on EVMs/ practical session will also be conducted for polling teams in presence of concerned ALMT. DIPRO
