Aalo, Jul 2: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi on Thursday chaired an elaborate coordination meeting with all the Heads of Offices to discuss various issues concerning the district’s overall development here at the DC Conference Hall. 
DC said that the main objective of the meeting was to ascertain the ongoing developmental activities in the district and the problems faced by the respective departments. While stressing on cooperation and commitment from the Heads of Offices, he reminded that all major works and development activities taken up in the district have to be informed to the DC including intimation before any departure and leave so that communication gaps are avoided. He further added that departments should promptly work out their land possessions and take allotment to check unwanted encroachments and Head of Offices should remain cautious while issuing NOCs on land to any government servant or applicant.
Drawing attention to the unplanned growth of the once-beautiful township of Aalo, DC said it is a matter of concern and everyone must cooperate in taking up the road works expeditiously and asked the PWD department to revamp the roads currently in bad shape. Expressing concern over the falling academic graph in the district, he underscored that education and health will be his priority areas.
