AALO, Mar 24: In West Siang district, huge crowd and movement of vehicles usually noticed during normal days came down drastically after the lockdown came into force from Tuesday.
With suspension of movement of public transport vehicles, those plying were found to be personal conveyance or catering to essential services, magistrate or police. Most of the offices are being sanitized with disinfectants and bleaching powder as sanitizers are reportedly out of market and all shutdown orders in the headquarters here and administrative outposts are being followed in letter and spirit with close monitoring by the magistrates and police at various locations.
A medical team led by Dr. Biyom Potom accompanied by police and Paktu Ao Youth Welfare Association closely monitored the Hissam Covid-19 screening gate. In a separate effort, the medical team from Kamba with help of IPR Aalo spread awareness through the Public Address System. DIPRO
