West Kameng holds election training

BOMDILA, Feb 1: In anticipation of the forthcoming elections, West Kameng district has geared up with trainings on SVEEP, EVM &VVPAT, MCC, EEM, Polling party, Poll day arrangement, ETPBS and Postal Ballots from the month of January.

Besides the training on SVEEP (VAF & VVIP) on January 16, the first round of training by the District Level Master Trainers on election in the district began from Dirang on January 29 for the entire group A, B and C employees of the 4-Dirang AC Segment who would ultimately be appointed as the sector officers, presiding &polling officials and constituted as election teams.

Day long training on the same lines was conducted at Nafra Sub-division on January 31.The third leg of training for the 7-Bomdila-Nafra AC Segment was held today at GHSS Auditorium Bomdila.

Master Trainers Dirang ADC Toko Babu, ADC Rupa S Gurung, Circle Officer K Wangda and Nodal Officer P Gadi imparted the training.

Trainings on the same lines would be imparted at Kalaktang and Rupa under 5-Kalaktang AC Segment on February 2-3 respectively and for 6-Thrizino-Buragaon AC Segment, the first round training would be held at Singchung, Thrizino and Bhalukpong on February 4, 7 and 8 respectively.

The first round trainings are a generalized one whereas the second and third rounds would be target specific. DIPRO
