BOMDILA, Feb 2: A meeting was held at the District Election Office under the chairmanship of Hage Tarung, ADC Bomdila, regarding the ensuing General Election 2024. 
The main objective of the meeting was to ensure free and fair elections while emphasizing the importance of peaceful and violence-free conduct. 
Moreover, Hage Tarung expressed concern over better coordination from political parties and the general public. He also spoke on the role of the media fraternity and emphasized the importance of ensuring that no false or perpetrated news is broadcasted. The meeting ended with the handing over of the final photo electoral roll of the 4 assembly constituencies of the district to the political party members present. 
The meeting was attended by Arvind Pangin, EAC, Yeshi Yamchodu, District President BJP West Kameng Unit, Lobsang Jamba, Secretary Bomdila Town Committee, Tsering Thinley, President INC, Monjen Kasidu, NPP and others (DIPRO).
