ZIRO, May 8: A full-day social service covering the three major villages of Lower Subansiri district namely Reru, Kalung and Tajang was conducted on Friday by the Youth Wing of All Habung Welfare Society at Bulla.
Chairman, Youth Wing Habung Pilya informed that post Myoko festival, huge quantity of garbage remained unattended due to the lockdown and restricted vehicular movement which was disposed on the day. Total adherence to government guidelines was followed by the volunteers maintaining social distancing of at least one meter and they were equipped with masks and hand gloves.
Pilya thanked the Urban Department, Ziro for supporting the mission by providing a dumping truck for disposal of the garbage. AHWS PR
