NAMSAI, Oct 30: Chowkham Army unit  under the aegis of Lohitpur Brigade of DAO Division conducted a Weapon and Equipment Display at Arunachal University of Studies at Namsai today.
The display as part of 'Know Your Army' campaign aims to educate and motivate local youth to join the Indian Army.   A large number of local youths participated in the exhibition.   This is the second such display organized by the unit within last five months.   Chowkham battalion of the DAO Division has also been instrumental in training of local youths which enabled in selection of 41 local youths for employment in the Army during the recently concluded Army Recruitment Rally at Jairampur.  
Various dignitaries and other high ranking defence and civilian officials attended the same.
