ITANAGAR, Mar 15 : A two-day state level orientation training for State Resource Groups (SRG) on ‘Incremental Learning Approach’ (ILA) was conducted by the Department of Women & Child Development here at Nokmey Namati Hall, Legislative Assembly Complex, Itanagar.
A total of 10 members of SRG which included the Deputy Director (ICDS) of Khonsa, 5 CDPOs, Principal MLTC, Itanagar and State Nodal Officer of Poshan Abhiyaan attended the training.The members of District Resource Groups from 4 districts namely East Kameng, Kurung Kumey, Kra-Daadi, and Lower Subansiri imparted orientation training simultaneously.
Director of Women & Child Development, T.P. Loyi highlighted the various aspects of the training programme. State Nodal Officer of Poshan Abhiyaan, D.K. Thungon presented an overview of its implementation in the state through PPT as per agenda items.
The first-day training programme covered the topics of understanding about maternal and child health status, developing an understanding on state-level NFHS, health & nutrition key activities on Incremental Learning Approach (ILA), Common Application Software (CAS) etc. In addition, trainings on ILA Module 1 - ‘Why this Monthly Meeting’, Module 2- ‘Making or updating home visit planner’, review of survey AWC alignment and catchment verification were also imparted.
The last day of training session covered topics such as uses of Modele-3 of ILA - planning and organizing CBE, orientation on all 21 Modules of ILA, guidelines, and role plays.
