Aalo, Jun 15: As a part of the celebration of World Blood Donors Day, Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donors Organization, a unit of Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Medical Department here at General Hospital on June 14 last.
Chief Guest, Dr. Moli Riba exhorted the youth to continue the good cause of donating blood and create awareness through the initiative of blood donation camps. Guest of Honour, Gijum, DIPRO Aalo said that most of the rural people do not even know their blood groups and highlighted the fact that there is no harm in donating blood. Medical Superintendent GS Aalo, Dr. Linya Lollen shared details on blood bank, transfusion etc through Power Point Presentation.
Chairman AVBDO, Nyami Doji and General Secretary Mojom Ete also spoke in detail on activities taken up by the organisation for the cause of humanity. DIPRO
