Tawang, May 10: For the first time in Tawang district, a total of 86 swab samples from persons currently in quarantine facilities were collected on Sunday, a majority of which were through the ‘Walk-in Sample Collection Kiosk’. 
DSO (IDSP) Dr Sangey Thinley alone collected 80 samples at the  kiosk in Khandro Drowa Tsangmu district hospital and the rest 6 samples were collected by Dr Rinchin Neema from the quarantine facility at Jang.
Dr Thinley further informed that till May 8, contract tracing of 3740 people have been completed and all the 1541 tourists who visited Tawang from February 6 to March 22 have been traced and contacted over phone. All of them are doing well with no Covid-19 positive found, he added.  DIPRO
