Wakro, May 20: Fighting the COVID – 19 pandemic, the Wakro administration is making all effort to provide the best possible quarantine services to the people returning from other parts of the country at various designated quarantine centers namely Manyuliang for those returning from Red Zone and Parsuram Kund for returnees from Green Zone.
“We have total 40 people including students and other returnees out of which 11 are undergoing mandatory institutional quarantine.
Three students including two from Guwahati and one from Banaras (UP) are at Manyuliang, two locals working at Kolkata (West Bengal), three members of a family returning from Tinsukia and three others returning from Dibrugarh are presently undergoing mandatory quarantine for five days according to new SOP.
However 14 days home quarantine is also mandatory to those lodged in quarantine centers and they will be allowed to go home after their swabs test negative”, informed EAC Wakro, Horki Diyum.
