ITANAGAR, May 24: Former state Home Minister Kumar Waii who quit BJP and contested the assembly election in Bameng constituency with NPP ticket has congratulated his winning opponent Goruk Pordung of BJP on his victory.
In a press release issued today, Waii said that he is accepting the defeat in all humility and will extend his support to Pordung as a senior leader of Bameng in all development works of the constituency. He has also extended thanks to the people of the constituency for giving him the opportunity to serve them for the last fifteen years.
