PASIGHAT, Oct 22: In aid of recent fire victims of Milang village under Mariyang Sub-Division in Upper Siang District, an NGO named 'Woodlanders' is organizing a three day voluntary donation camp at Gandhi Chowk, Pasighat market from October 22-24.
Appealing the people of Pasighat and entire Arunachal Pradesh in general to come forward and donate in whatever capacity, the Woodlanders informed that they are keeping the entire donation process completely transparent. "We will open the sealed donation box at the village of Milang in front of fire victims and administrative officers after donation completes. We are doing this to help and show solidarity with the people of Milang village in which total of 19 houses were gutted down completely while remaining 4 other households damaged in the attempt to stop further spreading of the fire", added the activist of Woodlanders.
Among other well wishers, Mebo MLA Lombo Tayeng extended donation of Rs. 2 lakhs for the fire victims while Anying Boli of Yingkiong also donated Rs. 1 lakh.
