Itanagar, Jun 17: Vikram Singh Malik who took over the charge of the Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex  today held a coordination meeting with the Administrative Officers and all the HoDs of the Capital Complex to discuss the works relating to every department. He also took review of the monsoon preparedness and emphasized the need for greater coordination and co-operation amongst stakeholders in order to tackle disasters collectively. As natural disasters are unpredictable and inevitable, therefore measures and good practices should be adopted in combating the disaster and future calamities, said the DC.
The DC also reviewed the works of line departments  like PWD, PHED, Electrical and asked them to work in coordination with each other.
He also directed the SDOJudicial Sangeeta Yirang to issue prohibitory order to refrain public from dumping their construction materials on road sides which may further choke the drains.
As earth cutting is already banned, the DC also directed the SDO to issue a revised order directing the Administrative Officers to impound those JCBs that are engaged in illegal earth cutting.
The DC also reviewed the status of the Division IV bridge and asked the department concerned to expedite the work for the convenience of the commuters. 
The SP Capital Complex Tumme Amo also gave vital suggestions to reduce traffic congestion in the Capital Complex. DIPRO
