Itanagar, Oct 28: Vigilance Awareness Week, 2019 observation with the theme ‘Integrity-A way of life’ commenced today here at the Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) through Integrity Pledge taking by the officials under supervision of its Director, Dr. Keshavamurthy.
ROB Director said that as corruption is one of the major obstacles in socio-economic and political progress of the country, all stakeholders need to work together to eradicate corruption. While urging all to be vigilant and committed to the highest standards of honesty and integrity at all times, he also advised the Bureau staff to lead by example, exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour and report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agencies like CVC, CBI and Vigilance wing of the department.
He stated that Central Vigilance Commission website provides detailed guidelines regarding the anti-corruption mechanisms. ROB PR
