ITANAGAR, May 21:More than 170 veterinarians from across the state took part in the 10th general conference of All Arunachal Pradesh Veterinary Association (AAPVA), which was held under chairmanship of Director, AHV & DD, Nirjuli, Dr. ND Minto on Monday.

Few of the important  resolution taken up in the conference were regarding bifurcation of the present directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary into two directorates, re-designation of the present DAH &VO and deputy directors, non practice allowances and retirement age of veterinary doctors, early conduct of departmental promotional committee(DPC), creation of VO posts etc.

Issues related to further development of the association including departmental officers were also discussed at length.
