ITANAGAR, Oct 13: MLA Techi Kaso today flagged off an ambulance under NAS (National Ambulance Service) for UPHC Itafort in the presence of Director Health Services Dr. M Lego among others.

 


Kaso hoped that the ambulance will cater to the needs of the people in need especially pregnant women and emergency cases. He lauded the team of the health centre which has been upgraded from a dispensary to UPHC and hoped that they will continue working dedicatedly and sincerely for the benefit of the people. 

The DMO Yupia Dr Subu Tasso Kampu briefed about the functioning of UPHC Itafort which has all the basic facilities.

The DMO also requested the officers and staff to discharge their duty dedicatedly and sincerely and to use the ambulance, drugs and other consumable and logistics judiciously for the benefit of the public of Itanagar. 

She also requested the MO I/c to start 24x7 emergency service with immediate effect as the health centre is equipped with enough man power.
