ITANAGAR, Feb14:All East Kameng District Students Union (AEKDSU) in its representation to the Director General of Police has sought speedy investigation into the death of JNV Tawang student, Toko Yame who went missing after clash erupted between two student groups on 16 September 2017.

In its reminder letter to the DGP, the students union   lamented that despite repeated pleas and constitution of Special Investigation Team in the said case no concrete breakthrough has been yet made.

‘Many a times AEKDSU and the family members of the deceased visited the Superintendent of Police –SIT to know the status of the case but returned without any update,’ stated the union in a press release.
