PASIGHAT, Jul 11: The All East Siang District students’ Union (AESDSU) has appreciated the Home department for making breakthrough in the late Ojing Taying (former Finance Secretary of AESDSU) murder case after almost two years. The union also expressed gratitude to Home Minister Bamang Felix and Ninong Ering MLA 37th West Pasighat for the consistent support in the matter.
Further, union also welcoming the announcement of fund provision for State University Pasighat in the just concluded budget session, urged the state government to allocate one time special package for completion of infrastructure and institutionalization of the much desired center.
The union also called upon the state government to pay heed to the Siang River menace that is mainly orchestrated by neighbouring country China and to impress upon the central government to have a Water Treaty with China as raised by its parental organization AAPSU on many occasions and also sanction requisite fund provision for flood control work rather than leaving people at the mercy of the marauding Siang river, stated a release.
