ITANAGAR, Jun 18:A conglomeration of organizations under the banner of Joint Working Committee of Arunachal Pradesh Trade Union (JWCAPTU) on Monday urged the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) to release four months pending wages of contingency staffers under the Forest department across the districts.

In a representation, the Committee claimed that from reliable source they came to know that the Forest department has allegedly halted the wages of its contingency staffers since March 2018 for reasons unknown.

In this regards, it requested the PCCF to intervene into the matter and direct all DFOs to disburse the wages within 7 days.
