ITANAGAR, Nov 22: All East Kameng District Students Union (AEKDSU) today called on Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and apprised him about the absence of administrative officers in various parts of the district.
AEKDSU, President Chakang Yangda while submitting the memorandum to the Chief Secretary, disclosed that East Kameng district requires adequate administrative officers in several circles and subdivisions. Urging the Chief Secretary for posting of adequate manpower in East Kameng, he claimed that due to the absence of concerned officers, people of the areas are facing unspeakable problems.
‘Many government projects and schemes are not being implemented properly in many areas due to the non-availability of officers.'
As of now East Kameng requires one Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADC) for Seppa, four EACs for Khenewa, Lada,Bana and Seppa, one SDO for Seppa, seven Circle Officers for Lada, Khenewa,Pipu,Seppa(Hq),Pakoti,Richukrung ,Debyar and one DTO for Seppa, informed AEKDSU President.
