AALO, Aug 1: In the wake of electrocution death of a child at Yigi Kaum village, the West Siang District Students Union has expressed dismay and said the incident took place due to complete negligence of Electrical Department and its concerned authority. 
On July 30, due to falling of stray wire a life was lost while another was grievously injured and currently undergoing medical treatment.
Seeking justice for the aggrieved families, the Union has called for immediate maintenance of electrical lines from Pobdi to Yigi Kaum village. Compensation to the injured, Kirto Ori as per provision. The WSDSU also sought compassionate job appointment for a member of the deceased family. Compensation of rupees twenty lakh to the family of Late Komnya Ori. It further  demanded arrest of concerned authority and suspension thereof.  Newsdesk
