ITANAGAR, Feb 27: The All Arunachal Tourism Students Union (AATSU) has urged the government to reinstate the engineering wing in the tourism department, stating that tourism development related activities are being hampered due to the closure of the wing.
In a representation addressed to the Chief Secretary, it stated that the discontinuation of the engineering wing has increased the burden on the technical department, resulting in delays in the completion of several tourism developmental projects.
It requested the CS to take up the matter with the state government to reinstate the same for all-round development of tourism sector in the state.
