ITANAGAR,  Oct 23: As per the direction of the Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan, the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee(APMC) has regulated the prices of Agri allied commodities(Meats, Fruits and vegetables) at Tuesday APMC Market Gohpur Itanagar. The prices are on display at the market.
The DC informed that now the items would be sold at a uniforme rate for the convenience of the public. The DC hoped that such a step would ensure better marketing experience thereby reducing unnecessary chaos in the market. 
He further informed that the APMC is also working on regulating prices of retail market in the Capital Complex.
The DC further informed that this step was taken as complaints were received from public about exorbitant prices that were fixed randomly by merchants causing inconvenience to the public.
Dolang Akom, Member Secretary informed that two separate price regulation have been displayed for morning and evening shift and the price regulated at the market is retail price which is less than prevailing market price.
