Doimukh, Dec 19: An unidentified, semi decomposed body of a male aged around 30-35 years and height 5.4 feet was recovered along the banks of Dikrong river in Doimukh circle this morning, Doimukh, PS Officer In-charge Inya Ete said on Thursday.
Ete informed that all legal formalities have been completed and the body is kept at RK Mission Hospital mortuary for the next 72 hours for identification. He also appealed to the general public to help the police in identifying the body of the deceased.
Ete said that a case of unnatural death has been registered vide UD case No-12/19 u/s-174 CrPc and all the nearest police stations and local administration have been informed to identify the dead body.
