ITANAGAR, Mar 7: Lieutenant Ligang Tony brought honour to Arunachal Pradesh today by getting commissioned into the Indian Army with 14 Guards as his Fall Back Unit after completing his training from OTA, Chennai.
Along with Tony, Lieutenant Ipupu Mena has also been commissioned into the Indian Army.
ESMAAP (Ex-Servicemen Association of Arunachal Pradesh) on behalf of all Ex-Servicemen of Arunachal Pradesh and every Arunachalee has congratulated the duo for their achievements. In a press release issued today, the association has also appealed the Governor, Chief Minister and Home Minister to honour these inspirational young Arunachalees preferably with gold medals and their proud parents.
It is worth mentioning that come December 2020, Gentleman Cadet Noga Kina will also get commissioned into the Indian Army. Tony’s brother Capt Ligang Kobing is also in the Indian Army and is currently serving under 9 Bihar Regiment.
