Sagalee, Jun 17: Nabam Tuki, soon after being re-elected as MLA 15-Sagalee AC held a coordination-cum-review meeting with all the Heads of Departments of Sagalee Sub-Division to review the status of the on-going projects of various departments under the division.
The meeting saw the participation by all the departments viz- General Administration, Works Departments like PWD, RWD, PHE&WS, WRD, Power, UPO and others like Medical, Education, Forest, ICDS, Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, APEDA etc. Identification, selection of new schemes/proposals of various departments/agencies were presented and matter pertaining to relief and rehabilitation works necessary at the onset of monsoon were also discussed. The former CM while stressing on the importance of timely completion of all targeted schemes, also emphasised on maintenance/observance of punctuality by all HoDs and subordinate staffs.
Shortage of Administrative Officers in various CO HQs under Sagalee Sub-Division like Leporiang, Parang, Mengio etc. was highlighted wherein the MLA resolved to take up the matter as a priority with higher authorities. He also promised to provide an ultrasound machine to CHC Sagalee at the earliest for public convenience and resolve the accommodation problems faced by Medical department. In this regard he urged the PWD Department to handover the completed residential quarters by July 15.
HoDs of the division were also asked to submit proposals for new schemes prioritized on need basis as per requirement of local populace for inclusion in the forthcoming state budget. DIPRO
