ITANAGAR, Mar 8: Former Arunachal Chief Minister and incumbent APCC President Nabam Tuki has officially resigned from his position. This announcement has been verified by Gyamar Tana, the General Secretary of APCC. Tana stated that Tuki has submitted his resignation to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) following the defection of three sitting Congress MLAs to the BJP. “ In Congress, it’s a moral obligation to resign from a post, if majority of MLAs defects to other political parties., added Tana. Additionally, he dismissed rumours suggesting Tuki's potential move to the BJP, levelling such reports as mere speculation.
