ITANAGAR, Feb 27: Former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki expressed serious concern over rise of crime against children and students in the state.
Tuki was addressing the 14th Annual Day celebration of Guardian Angel School here near Bank Tinali and said ‘it really is a concern for all over the lack of security of small children and school students in the state which is increasing and is an alarming trend.’
Asserting that parents are worried about the safe return of their wards from school, the former CM said that administration, school authority and school management committee should act unitedly for safety and security of the young children.
Guest of Honour, Chief Estate Officer Talo Potom emphasised on student-teacher relationship, and stressed the need for extracurricular activities in schools which aids students in their growth, health and education for a successful career.
