TORU, Jan 20: Former Chief Minister and Sagalee local MLA, Nabam Tuki today appealed the Goan Burahs and Goan Buris to re-dedicate themselves for the cause and development of the state and welfare of the people and uphold the institution while dealing with social and welfare activities.
He was addressing the 18th GBs foundation day cum conference as chief guest organised by the All Toru Circle Goan Burah welfare association (ATCGBWA).
Asserting that the GB institution has been maintaining the age old customary laws, Tuki appealed all to strengthen customary laws in the state for timely and quick delivery of justice.
He also assured to look into the demands of GB association for enhancement of honorarium, free power supply, construction of guest house etc. 
Later resolution was passed banning hunting of wildlife for  commercial propose including cultivation and selling of Marijuana etc.
