Tezu, Mar 31: The 44 Tezu-Sunpura constituency is going to witness a triangular contest with Dr Mohesh Chai sitting Minister from BJP, Karikho Kri former two-term MLA as an Independent candidate and Nuney Tayang of Nationalist Congress Party in the fray.
Returning Officer K Karmakar administered the oath of affirmation to all the contesting candidates. Over 18540 electorates including 9429 males and 9111 females will decide the destiny on April 11 next. A total of 35 polling stations will be set up at various allotted areas of the constituency to ensure free, fair and smooth election. Vedagam is the remotest polling station of this constituency in Lohit district.  
DC cum DEO Lohit Prince Dhawan, IAS and his team have been working round the clock to ensure proper enforcement of Model Code of Conduct and making the election violence free.
