PASIGHAT, Jan 28: College of Horticulture and Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat conducted a training programme on “Water Management in Horticultural Crops” at its campus today.
During the training programme, altogether 27 farmers from Ledum, Mirem and Bilat Bamin Circles of East Siang District were trained about water management based cultivation practice of fruit, vegetable and plantation crops etc.
They are also exposed to the techniques of water management in citrus nursery and demonstration of rain water harvesting system, solar pumping system including quality planting material production.
