NIRJULI, Sep 18: A valedictory function of 10 days long   87th Batch Skill Development Training Course on scientific ways of rearing pigs for both breeding and fattening was held on Wednesday last. The training programme was held from September 9-18.
Giving away training certificates to all successful participants Dr. Dagge Riba, District Veterinary officer, Yupia lauded the objectives of Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) and its team for rendering their excellent services despite limited building infrastructure and other facilities for the cause of self-employment & entrepreneurship development.
Aben Dupak, Director RSETI also exhorted trainees to utilize the knowledge to find post-placement and settlement by adopting scientific integrated piggery farming for earning their livelihood.
Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank –Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Nirjuli under Ministry of Rural Development is the lone training institute which caters training to educated unemployed youths from all over districts of Arunachal Pradesh.
During the training session resource persons Martin Tayeng , Faculty of the RSETI and Aben Dupak, the Director, APRB-RSETI imparted training  on subjects like micro lab-ice breaking exercise , achievement motivations and confidence building, etc.
