ITANAGAR, Mar 7: CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology Branch Itanagar, Naharlagun in collaboration with Synchro Serve Global Solution Private Limited organised a three day training programme on cultivation of mushroom at its office premise G-sector which concluded today.

CSIR-NEIST Branch Itanagar is conducting frequent skill development training programme mainly on popularization of mushroom cultivation in several rural localities in Arunachal Pradesh towards socio-economic up-liftmen of the rural people in the state.

The Synchro Serve Global Solution Private Limited has also been engaged in providing skills training to urban unemployed people in Papumpare district with an aim of providing them a gainful self employment and skilled wage employment opportunity under the banner of state Urban Livelihood Mission’s EST&P DAY-NULM.

During the training programme, senior technical officer Dr.Budhen Ch. Baruah provided training on preparation of mushroom culture, mushroom spawn and its cultivation technology to the participants.

25 participants of Naharlagun, Itanagar and Nirjuli attended the training programme. A practical demonstration on preparation of mushroom bags was also rendered during the training programme.
