NIRJULI, Feb 26: Altogether 29 trainees were felicitated with certificates for participating in the 10-day dairy farming and vermicompost making training program which concluded here at RSETI centre, Nirjuli today.
The certificates were given away by Director APRB-RSETI, Aben Dupak and faculty Er.Martin Tayeng.
The program was organized by Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank-Rural Self Employment Training Institute (APRB-RSETI) from February 17-26 as a part of its Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the current year with objective of self employment and entrepreneurship development.
During the training program, trainees were taken to Government Central Cattle Breeding Farm under the guidance of Dr. Taking Gammi, SVO of the farm. Two resources persons from KVK, Dr Yab Mate Bui and Dr. Nabam Gama imparted training on dairy farming while Dr. BC Baruah, NEIST, Naharlagun on vermicompost making.
Trainings were organized as per course modules set by National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National Skills Qualification Committee (NSQC) following the extended guidelines of MoRD, Government of India.
During the course of training, Director, MoRD, GoI also visited RSETI and interacted with trainees. He also visited newly constructed RSETI building at Yupia.
APRB-RSETI, Nirjuli under Ministry of Rural Development is the lone training institute in the state that is providing free of cost trainings to educated unemployed youths from all districts in the state.
