3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth
ITANAGAR, Jan 27: In an endeavour to reform and reintegrate the delinquents to mainstream as conceptualised under the provision of Juvenile Justice Act, the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority today organised a Para Legal Volunteer Training for the members of Arunachal Pradesh Delinquent Welfare Association (APDWA) here today at its conference hall.
In his inaugural address, Budi Habung elaborated on the roles and responsibilities of the State Legal Services Authority in facilitating access to justice to all the sections of society by providing free legal services through conducting legal awareness programmes, Lok Adalat, etc.
Legal Aid Counsel, APSLSA, Nani Modi briefed on working of Juvenile Justice Board & Children Welfare Commission under JJ (Juvenile Justice) Act, 2015, Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 & Women’s Rights, Domestic Violence Act, 2005 & Sexual.
Among others, Legal Aid Counsel Jumgam Jini, OSD to APLSA Dani Belo also spoke on the occasion.
