SEPPA, Dec 23: A district level farmers training on scientific land terracing was conducted on Friday at the office premise of DDA’s office, Seppa, East Kameng district under ATMA. Fifty selected farmers from Bameng, Khenewa, Lada  and Seppa blocks attended the programme.
ADO ATMA, Tadi Dodum and ADO Khenewa,  Joymoni Beyong both briefed about the working guidelines of the scheme to the beneficiaries. The technical details involved in the scientific terracing of land were made aware to all present and pressed for early execution and completion of the work in stipulated time.
Scientific land terracing is a state plan under SADA, specially tailored for the food deficit districts of the state.
