NAMSAI, Mar 8: The two day training of District & Census Charge Officers of Namsai district culminated today at DC's conference hall at the district headquarters. The training was undertaken by resource persons headed by B. Sotun, jt.Director, Directorate of Census, Shillong.  DC Namsai B. Talukdar in his address at the inaugural function emphasized on the importance of the Census operation and urged all the officers to listen carefully to whatever is being imparted in the training.
The resource persons gave PowerPoint presentations on Census 2021, NPR and various other topics and also conducted technical sessions on important apps such as HLO, NPR, Quick capture and CMMS portal. The training programme was attended by all Administrative officers who are the charge officers for their respective jurisdictions and District statistics Officer cum Addl.
