PANGIN, Sep 24:A district level training programme was today conducted at Pangin, Siang District for all block level facilitators and Panchayat level facilitators to enable them to properly carry out the People's Plan Campaign and help them prepare a more comprehensive Gram Panchayat Development Plan. Among others present in the programme were Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Takuk and PD DRDA Tajing Jonnom.

Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner stated that as agents at the grassroots level, these field level functionaries played a pivotal role. He advised all participants to sincerely and dedicatedly perform their duties and responsibilities. 

District Facilitator and resource person Nini Panggam spoke on various topics like Mission Antyodaya, mobile based application for data collection, convergence of PRIs and Self Help Groups, GPDP preparation, role of facilitators etc. 

Participants from PHE, RD,  Panchayat and ICDS attended the training.
