ROING, Sep 10: A State Level Tritya Sopan Training and Testing Camp for Scouts and Guides was attended today by the Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom.
Addressing the scouts and guides present on the occassion, DC congratulated the students for being associated with the Scouts and Guide movement as it will help in their personality development, learning life saving skills, giving them a chance to interact with others and open up new opportunities for students. 
The DC advised the students to learn and imbibe the values taught, follow it in their daily lives and also instill good habits in loved ones and others surrounding them.
BEO O Langkam termed it an honour for the district to be given an opportunity to conduct the state level camp and said that such training and testing camps prepared participants for facing all kinds of obstacles in life.
Gautam Bhattacharjee, Leader of Course (Scouts) informed about the camp having 96 scouts and guides participants from 8 districts of the Eastern region of the State. He also briefed on the course content and objectives of the training and testing camp. DTO(Scout) Somit Mena also spoke on the occassion.
