Itanagar, Nov 23: In a tragic fire incident that occurred around 2.30 am late on Saturday night, four members of the family of one Ha Tasang were charred to death as their MIBT house got completely engulfed in fire here at Dokioso Colony behind Bomdila Hotel.
The deceased have been identified as Ha Tasang aged 35 yrs (father),Ha Yaning aged 30 yrs (mother) and their two daughters Ha Yapi(8 yrs) and Ha Mama (6 yrs). DDMO Moromi Sonam informed that the victims were originally from Pipsorang, Tali and one tempo and one scooty were also completely burnt during the course of fire. SPT house of one Sorang Tapung was partially damaged and his son Sorang Taro’s MIBT house was completely gutted due to the fire, DDMO added. Although the Capital Complex District Administration swung into action and fire tenders reached the spot and managed to douse the fire, damage had already been done. Secretary Disaster Management Dani Sulu, DC Capital Vikram Singh Malik, SP Fire & Emergency Services, Romil Baniya and SP Capital Tumme Amo inspected the spot.
EAC Dakli Gara informed that relief assistance and ex-gratia will be handed over to the victim families as per norms and guidelines of SDRF after loss assessment. DIPRO
