PASIGHAT, Aug 22: Toni Pertin, Vice Principal of GHSS Dambuk has been selected by Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi for the National Award to Teachers-2018 for his sincerity and dedication in both academic and administrative skills in improving schools and its students’ pass percentage. Pertin will receive the prestigious award on 5th September next at New Delhi which comprises of a Certificate of Merit and a cash award of Rs. 50,000 with a Silver Medal.
Apart from Pertin, two more lady teachers were also selected from the state to present their works and programme taken up so far before a jury of five members at New Delhi recently.
The student and teaching community of GHSS Dambuk and GSS Parbuk are elated over this piece of news including the education department and Pertin's native Kiyit village.
