Khonsa, Jul 9: Tirap recorded its third Covid-19 recovery on Thursday with the release of the patient belonging to the 132 RCC GREF camp, Tirathju Hydel, here from the Covid Care Centre (CCC) at the District Hospital.
The said patient, was admitted to the CCC on June 16 last after his nasopharyngeal swab tested positive, even though he was asymptotic. Finally, he was released today after his swab samples taken 24 hours apart tested negative on both the occasions.
Issuing the Discharge Certificate, DMO Dr. Koblem Mossang advised the recovered person to observe a further two-week home quarantine in accordance with Ministry of Home Affairs SOPs.
After this discharge, the current Covid positive cases in Tirap district have been reduced to two out of the total five. DIPRO
