KHONSA, Jan 15: In order to raise awareness on road safety and legal provisions of MV Act, the Tirap District Police is conducting the 31st Road Safety Week from January 11-17 at schools in Khonsa and Deomali for the student community and teaching staff. Similar programmes are being held for drivers and public at market areas led by respective OCs of Khonsa and Deomali.
The OC Police Station, Khonsa Inspector Wangngoi Kamhua and OC Deomali PS Insp Tomai Wangpan distributed fliers on road safety tips and flowers on the occasion to the students and motorists as goodwill gesture. DIPRO
