KHONSA, Mar 6: Residents of Tirap mourned the demise of former DC Tirap and Retired RCS Wangliam Lowang who breathed his last on Monday here after prolonged illness.

Born in Kheti village of Nocte Community under Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh on 2^nd March, 1957, Lowang was known to be one of the sincere, dedicated and law abiding administrative officer of Arunachal Pradesh.

He is survived by wife, daughters and a son. His first daughter Miss Chajat Lowang is an IRS officer currently serving in Hyderabad.
