ITANAGAR, May 10: Joint rescue effort by ITBP personnel and SDPO, Itanagar D Gumja today saved the lives of three people who were stuck in a van that met an accident at Gohpur.
The accident occurred when a van with a woman and a minor boy and the driver on board fell into a gorge while trying to take a sudden turn, informed an eye witness.
No major casualties have been reported and all the three people are safe, informed Superintendent of Police, Tumme Amo. He also appreciated the ITBP jawans and SDPO for rushing to the incident site swiftly to save lives despite not on duty.
