NAMSAI, Jul 31: ‘Tiffin on wheels' a centralized kitchen programme of Mid Day mela was launched today at district secretariat Namsai. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein ,Chow Zingnu Namchoom MLA Namsai, Jummum  Ette Deori MLA Lekang, Dr.Tapasya Raghav  jointly flagged off  at least 8 Tata Magic vehicles for 17 clusters centers.
Under 'Tiffin on wheels'  centralized kitchen programme under Department of Education, food  will be  cooked locally by a committee responsible for  implementing the scheme in  a centralized kitchen and the cooked hot mela will be  transported  under hygienic conditions through reliable transport systems to various schools.
