Roing, Feb 5: The 3rd Quarter District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting 2019-20 was held February 5 here.
Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson DLMC Mitali Namchoom, advised the executing agencies to black list the firms which do not execute the works as per specification and delay in carrying out  works. She also directed all the departments to ensure land availability before proposing projects.
DPO cum Member Secretary(DLMC) Marto Dirchi briefed about importance of Geo tagging and monitoring.
All the works departments highlighted the status of physical and financial positions of all the central and major state sponsored projects in the district. The departments cited sub-letting of works to numerious sub contractors as the main reason for delaying in completion of projects. DIPRO
