ITANAGAR, Jun  20: In view of the  complaints received from villagers of Namphai-1 and Namphai-2, regarding flouting  of  protocol and guidelines  under the Epidemic Disease Act 1897 in Changlang district, a team of All Tangsa Students Union(ATSU) under the supervision of Officer In-charge, Miao Police station  N Angu  raided various shops and seized illegal materials.
Under the supervision of  OC Miao, N Angu with support of  ADC, Miao, T. Rumi, EAC Namphai -l, N. Bhatt, ATSU in collaboration with the NGOs of Namphai-1 and Namphai-2, had checked all the shops and seized IMFL  as well as other tobacco products. Team also created awareness on the price of vegetables and SOPs that should be adopted during the lockdown as per norms.
Meanwhile, ATSU also visited various makeshift gates created as a precautionary measure against COVID-19 . The organization also   distributed food packets to volunteers at check gates in Upper and Lower Injan, New Lisan, Old/New Pulon and in many other villages.
