PASIGHAT, Apr 22:

 

“An educational system is not worth a great deal if it fails to make students understand the importance of education in life. It has far-reaching effects because it is not only an entry point to other opportunities but also it uplifts living standard across generations,” emphasized local MLA, Kaling Moyong while participating in the Silver Jubilee celebration as Chief Guest along with DC Tamiyo Tatak including other HoDs and PRI members.

 

Stating that investment in education yields high dividends and the children deserve the best education to cope with the competitive world, Moyong called upon the teaching fraternity to rededicate them to groom children as worthy citizens through quality education.

 

The MLA also highlighted on various ongoing projects like Civil Terminal for Pasighat ALG, rejuvenation of JNC infrastructure ,  maintenance of  road network under Pasighat, sanctioning of Sirpo water project etc and conveyed his gratitude to the Chief Minister Pema Khandu for providing 10 Cr. He also informed that Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat is all set to introduce laparoscopy, CT scan and Dialysis facilities etc shortly.

 

Guest of Honour Tamiyo Tatak while seeking wholehearted cooperation from the people, also assured to recommend two more GBs for Monku village for administrative mobility.

 

ZPC Kaling Dai said ‘East Siang has vast scope in agriculture sector and people must be encouraged to adopt it as livelihood by introducing scientific and modern methods. People should avail optimum benefits of government schemes and projects.’
